COVID-19 could spoil your summer.
Stay protected with an additional dose.
65+ or immunocompromised?
Did you know that older adults (65+) and individuals who are moderately or severely immunocompromised are more likely to get very sick from COVID-19?
The good news? You can reduce your risk of severe illness by receiving recommended vaccines. Because protection from COVID-19 vaccines can wane over time, high-risk groups, including adults 65 and older, and those who are immunocompromised, should receive another dose of the 2024/2025 COVID-19 vaccine six months after their first dose.

Stay updated. Stay protected.
While COVID-19 cases often increase during the winter, past years have shown that surges can happen any time of year. With travel, large gatherings, and events on the rise, it’s important to remember: COVID-19 is a year-round threat.
Your immune system is strong—but vaccines make it stronger. Vaccines train your body to recognize and fight illnesses before they make you seriously sick. Help protect yourself from serious illness: get vaccinated against COVID-19.

Individuals who are 65+ or moderately or severely immunocompromised are recommended to receive another dose of the 2024/2025 COVID-19 vaccine six months after their first dose.
2024-2025 COVID-19 vaccines became available in early fall. That means if you’re high-risk and got your first dose in August, September, October, or November 2024, you are now eligible or nearly eligible for another dose. Getting an additional dose is a key layer of protection to lessen severe outcomes due to COVID-19 and be prepared ahead of another surge.
