About CVEEP

Learn more about CVEEP’s work advancing education and equity around vaccines and treatments for infectious respiratory diseases.

Our Mission

Founded in December 2020, Champions for Vaccine Education, Equity and Progress (CVEEP) is a trusted source of information and a leading voice in discussions on vaccines and treatments for infectious respiratory diseases.

We are committed to raising awareness and encouraging conversation to build confidence in recommended vaccines and available treatment options for infectious respiratory diseases.

What We Stand For

Protecting Our Health

Staying up to date with recommended vaccines is the best way to avoid severe illness from infectious respiratory diseases.

If infection does occur, treatments can help reduce the severity of symptoms and the risk of hospitalization and death, especially among people who have risk factors that make them more vulnerable to severe illness.

Keeping Our Communities Safe

When you get vaccinated against infectious respiratory diseases, you’re not just protecting yourself — you are also helping to protect your family and your community.

We have the best chance of reducing severe illness and the worst outcomes of infectious respiratory diseases when we work together.

Ensuring Equitable Access

To help ensure equitable access to vaccines and treatments, we must also ensure equitable access to information.

We do this by encouraging conversation with trusted voices, answering questions, and providing resources backed by credible experts in science and health.

Partners & Conveners

CVEEP includes more than 250 partners that comprise organizations representing a broad range of communities and stakeholders including patient advocates, caregivers and families, diverse communities, healthcare workers, older adults, children, veterans, and scientists. It is led by three convening organizations that are leaders in the public health community:
